    Getting There

    Bus

    From the center of Škofja Loka, walk to the main bus station located at Trg svobode. Take the bus heading to Postojna. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Postojna bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the direction of Jamska cesta. You will see signs pointing to Postojna Cave. Follow these signs for about 15 minutes until you reach Jamska cesta 30, where the cave entrance is located.

    Walking

    If you prefer to walk, head southwest from the center of Škofja Loka. Walk along the main road (Cesta 1. maja) towards the village of Hotavlje. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the highway. Follow the pedestrian path along the highway towards Postojna. This route is longer, approximately 12 km and will take around 2.5 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay on the designated paths for safety.

    Taxi

    For a more convenient option, you can take a taxi from Škofja Loka to Postojna. You can call a local taxi service, or if you are near the main square, there may be taxis available. The ride takes about 20-25 minutes, and you will be dropped off right at the entrance of Postojna Cave, Jamska cesta 30.
