Walking

Start at the Škofja Loka town center, near the main square (Glavni trg). From the square, head southeast towards the bridge (Most) that crosses the Sora River. Cross the bridge and continue straight on Cankarjeva cesta. After about 600 meters, you will reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the road leading up towards the hills. This road is called Kovačnica. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers, and you will see a sign for Sten (489 m) on your left. Follow the marked hiking trail that leads up to the viewpoint on Sten. The hike takes about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.
Public Transport (Bus)

From the Škofja Loka bus station, take the bus heading towards the village of Žiri. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at the stop for Sten. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop, follow the marked path that leads to Sten (489 m). The hike from the bus stop to the viewpoint takes around 20-30 minutes.
