Getting There
Walking
From the center of Škofja Loka, head towards the main square (Trg svobode). Once you reach the square, look for the exit towards the east, which leads you onto the main road (Cesta dveh cesarjev). Continue walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the main road towards Idrija. Follow the signs for Idrija. After about 2 kilometers, you will arrive at the bus station in Škofja Loka. From there, take the bus to Idrija (Bus line 22 or 23). The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Idrija, get off at the 'Idrija Avtobusna postaja' stop. From the bus station, it's a 10-minute walk to the TIC Idrija. Head down Prelovčeva ulica, and you will find the TIC at number 5 on your left.
Bus
To reach TIC Idrija, first make your way to the Škofja Loka bus station, which is located near the town center. Look for the bus service that operates to Idrija; you can find the schedule at the station or online. Purchase a ticket from the ticket machine or the bus driver. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride to Idrija, which takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Idrija Avtobusna postaja'. Once you arrive, exit the bus station and turn left onto Prelovčeva ulica. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see the TIC Idrija at Prelovčeva ulica 5.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle in Škofja Loka. Begin your journey on the main road (Cesta dveh cesarjev) leading out of Škofja Loka towards Idrija. The ride is approximately 7 kilometers and will take around 30 minutes depending on your speed. Follow the road signs towards Idrija. As you approach Idrija, look for signs pointing to the city center. Once you arrive in Idrija, head towards Prelovčeva ulica. The TIC Idrija will be located at number 5, which should be easy to spot as you navigate through the city.
