Walking
Start your journey at the Velenje city center, specifically near the Velenje Castle (Velenjski grad). From the castle, head west towards Cesta 1. Maja. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Cesta Franca Riharja. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. After you pass the large supermarket on your right, look for a sign towards Škalsko jezero. Turn left onto a smaller road that leads to the lake area. Continue straight for another 800 meters until you reach Škalsko jezero, which will be on your right.

Public Transport
From the Velenje bus station, take bus number 3 towards Škale. The bus ride lasts about 20 minutes. Get off at the Škale stop, which is the closest stop to Škalsko jezero. After exiting the bus, walk straight for about 500 meters on the main road until you see the entrance to the lake area on your left. Follow the path leading to the lake, and you will reach Škalsko jezero.
