Start from Velenje's main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Velenje). Head east on Cankarjeva cesta towards the intersection with Šaleška cesta. Turn right onto Šaleška cesta and continue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the route towards Šoštanj (road number 106). Follow the road for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the bus stop 'Zavodnje'. From the bus stop, walk approximately 800 meters north on the local road, following the signs towards Kavčnik homestead, which will be on your left at Zavodnje 43.
