Start in Auki town center, near the main market. Head southwest along the main road (Central Road) towards the waterfront. Follow the waterfront road until you reach the junction where you see the sign for 'Ruaniu'. Turn left onto the road leading towards Ruaniu. Continue walking along this road; you will pass local houses and small shops. Keep an eye out for the local landmarks to guide you. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach an area where the road forks. Take the right fork, following the signs pointing towards Mbonege beach. Walk for another 15-20 minutes until you see the beach entrance marked with a small sign or path leading down to the beach. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Auki town. Start from the center of Auki and cycle southwest along Central Road towards the waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, continue straight until you hit the junction for 'Ruaniu'. Turn left and cycle along this road, enjoying the views of local life. This route is approximately 3-4 kilometers. After 20-25 minutes of cycling, you will reach the fork in the road; take the right fork.
