From Honiara, take the main road heading towards the Central Province. Drive for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction near the town of Auki. Take the turnoff towards Ruaniu, which is well-marked. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you see signs for Mbonege Beach. You'll need to turn onto an unnamed road (JV9C+868) which leads directly to the beach. There may be a small fee of around $50 SBD to access the beach area, as indicated by local signage.
