    From Honiara, take the main road heading towards the Central Province. Drive for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction near the town of Auki. Take the turnoff towards Ruaniu, which is well-marked. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you see signs for Mbonege Beach. You'll need to turn onto an unnamed road (JV9C+868) which leads directly to the beach. There may be a small fee of around $50 SBD to access the beach area, as indicated by local signage.

    Start your journey in Honiara by taking a public minibus heading to Auki. The fare is approximately $30 SBD. Once in Auki, look for local transport options or shared taxis that can take you towards Ruaniu. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mbonege Beach. The ride should cost around $20 SBD. After reaching Ruaniu, you may need to walk or catch a local taxi to the unnamed road leading to Mbonege Beach, where a fee of about $50 SBD may apply for access.
