Walking
Start from the central area of Honiara, near the main market. Head east on Mendana Avenue towards the ocean. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading up into the hills. This is the road to Edsons Ridge. Follow the road as it winds upwards, and keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Edsons Ridge Monument. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the monument, you will find a small parking area and a walking path leading to the monument itself.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Honiara. Begin at the Honiara Central Market, then head east on Mendana Avenue. Follow the same route as for walking, but be cautious of the traffic as you ascend the hill. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes depending on your speed. Make sure to park your bike safely near the monument.
Public Transport
To reach Edsons Ridge Monument via public transport, locate a bus stop near the Honiara Central Market. Take a bus heading towards the hills; ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Edsons Ridge. Once you get off, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the monument, which is a short 10-15 minute walk from the bus stop.
