Car
If you are driving, start from Auki, the capital of Malaita. Take the main road heading south towards Ruaniu. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. As you approach Ruaniu, look for the junction to the Unnamed Road (which will be marked by a local sign). Turn onto this road, and continue for about 10 minutes until you reach Mbonege Beach, located at the coordinates JV9C+868.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Auki, you can catch a local bus heading towards Ruaniu. Buses generally leave from the main bus terminal in Auki. The fare is around 20-30 SBD (Solomon Islands Dollar). Inform the driver or conductor that you want to go to Ruaniu. Once you arrive in Ruaniu, you will need to hire a taxi or walk the remaining distance (approximately 30 minutes) to Mbonege Beach, which is located on the Unnamed Road. Taxis may cost around 50-100 SBD for the short trip.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any point in Auki. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Mbonege Beach. The taxi fare from Auki to Mbonege Beach should be around 150-200 SBD, depending on negotiation and traffic conditions.
