Car
If you're traveling by car, start in the main town of Lata, the capital of Temotu Province. Head east on the main road towards the village of Malapu. Drive for approximately 20 minutes, covering a distance of about 15 km. As you approach Malapu, look for signs indicating Temotu Puka, which is located at R74H+J8. The road may be unpaved in some sections, so drive cautiously.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Lata, you can take a local bus to Malapu. Buses usually leave from the main bus station in Lata. The fare is approximately 10 SBD (Solomon Islands Dollar). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver that you are heading to Malapu; they will drop you off near the village. Once in Malapu, follow the signs to Temotu Puka located at R74H+J8, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus drop-off point.
Walking
If you are already in Malapu, walking to Temotu Puka is a viable option. From the center of Malapu, head east towards the coastal area. Look for the signs directing you to Temotu Puka. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace. Ensure you have a map or ask locals for directions if needed.
