Walking
Starting from the center of Yandina, head towards the main road leading out of town. Walk north on the main street until you reach the intersection with the Yandina River. At the river, turn left and follow the riverbank trail. Continue walking along the river for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach a signpost indicating the direction to Simon’s Bay. Follow the signs through the nature trail, which will lead you through beautiful scenery and lush vegetation. Keep an eye out for local wildlife along the way.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Yandina market and ride north on the main road. Follow the road until you reach the Yandina River. At the river, take a left and continue along the riverbank. The cycling path is well marked and will take you directly to Simon’s Bay. The total distance is about 2 kilometers, and you can expect a scenic ride through the nature preserve areas along the way.

Public Transport
From Yandina, head to the nearest bus stop located on the main road. Look for a bus that is heading towards Baroni. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop nearest to Simon’s Nature Reserve. Once you disembark, walk towards the beach area, keeping an eye out for signage that directs tourists to Simon’s Bay. It’s about a 500-meter walk from the bus stop to the reserve entrance.
