Walking
From the center of Hargeisa, head west on the main road towards the Hargeisa Cultural Center. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road leading to the airport. Turn left at the junction and follow the road for another 2 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards Las Geel Rock Drawings. Keep walking straight for another 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Las Geel site, which is marked by a small hut where you can pay for entry.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Hargeisa. Start from the Hargeisa Cultural Center, cycling west for about 1.5 kilometers. At the junction, turn left onto the road leading to the airport. Continue cycling for approximately 2 kilometers, and watch for signs indicating Las Geel Rock Drawings. You will cycle for about 5 more kilometers before reaching the entrance to the site, where you can park your bicycle and pay for entry.

Public Transport (Minibuses)
Take a minibus from the Hargeisa central bus station heading towards the airport area. Let the driver know that you want to get off at the junction for Las Geel. The fare is usually around 5,000 SOS (Somali Shillings). Once you get off, follow the signs for Las Geel Rock Drawings by walking straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance. You may also ask locals for directions if needed.
