Walking
If you are in the central area of Mogadishu, start at the iconic Liido Beach. Head southwest along the beach road until you reach the main road, which is called Maka Al-Mukarama. Turn left and walk along this road. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will come to the intersection with K10 Road. Continue straight on Maka Al-Mukarama until you see the large roundabout. From the roundabout, take the first exit onto 28PJ+9RX (a local name for the area). The Dhagaxtuur Statue will be in sight after a short walk on this road, located in the Dagmada Xamar Weyne borough. It should take you about 30-40 minutes to reach the statue on foot.

Begin at the central market area in Mogadishu. Walk towards the nearest bus stop, which is located near the market entrance. Look for the bus that goes towards Maka Al-Mukarama (Route 1). Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at the large roundabout. After approximately 15-20 minutes, disembark at the roundabout. From there, walk straight onto 28PJ+9RX. The Dhagaxtuur Statue will be a short walk from the roundabout. This journey may take about 40-60 minutes total, depending on the bus schedule and walking pace.
