Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Mogadishu, head towards the north on Maka al-Mukarama Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading towards the beach. Turn right and keep walking along the coast. After a short distance, you will see Taalada SYL (SYL Monument) on your left side, located in Dagmada Xamar Weyne.

From the Bakaara Market, exit the market and head south on the main road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Maka al-Mukarama Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the beach road. Turn left and you will find Taalada SYL (SYL Monument) shortly after on your left side.

If you are near the Somali National Theatre, exit the theatre and head east towards the main road. Walk along the main road until you reach the intersection with Maka al-Mukarama Road. Turn left on Maka al-Mukarama Road and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will find Taalada SYL (SYL Monument) on the left side, close to the coastline.
