Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Sool, start your journey in the region’s capital, Las Anod. Head northeast on the main road towards the town of Qardho. The drive will take approximately 3 to 4 hours. The road may be rough in some parts, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road driving. Once you reach Qardho, continue east towards Bosaso, which is about another 2 hours away. Follow the signs for Bosaso Port as you near the city. Upon entering Bosaso, you can find parking near the beach area.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Las Anod to Bosaso. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Las Anod. Make sure to confirm the departure times as they may vary. The journey will take about 5 to 6 hours, depending on road conditions. Upon arriving at Bosaso, you can either walk to Bosaso beach, which is approximately 15 minutes away from the bus station, or hire a local taxi for a small fee.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi for the journey. Taxis are available in Las Anod and can take you directly to Bosaso beach. This option is more expensive, usually costing between $50 to $70, but it offers convenience and comfort. The drive should take about 4 to 5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
