Car
From the Battlefields area, head northeast on the R33 towards the R40. Continue on the R40 for approximately 45 km until you reach the town of Graskop. In Graskop, turn left onto the R532 (Graskop Road) and follow the signs for Bourke's Luck Potholes. The potholes are located within the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve. There is an entrance fee of around ZAR 30 per person. The journey should take about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public Transport
To reach Bourke's Luck Potholes via public transport, first take a taxi or minibus from the Battlefields area to Graskop. Once in Graskop, you can either hire a local taxi to take you to Bourke's Luck Potholes or join a local tour group that includes transportation. Be aware that public transport can be infrequent, so it's advisable to check schedules in advance. The taxi or tour will take approximately 30 minutes to reach the potholes from Graskop, and you will still need to pay the entrance fee of about ZAR 30 upon arrival.
