From Battlefields, head northeast on the R33 towards the town of Dundee. Continue on the R33 until you reach the intersection with the N3 highway. Take the N3 South towards Durban. After approximately 35 km, take exit 155 towards the R40, signposted for White River and Kruger National Park. Merge onto the R40 and follow the signs to Hazyview. From Hazyview, take the R536 to the Phabeni Gate, which is one of the main entrances to Kruger National Park. The total driving distance is approximately 170 km and will take around 2 to 2.5 hours.
