Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Battlefields. Head southeast on the R103 road towards the town of Ladysmith. Continue on the R103 for approximately 22 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the R616. Turn left onto the R616 and follow it for about 16 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Spion Kop. The entrance to the Spion Kop Nature Reserve will be on your right. Please note that there may be a small entrance fee for the reserve, typically around R20.
