If you are traveling by car, start from the central area of Battlefields. Head southeast on the R33 towards Escourt. Continue on the R33 for approximately 25 kilometers. You will see signs for Battlewalks on the left side of the road. Turn left onto the gravel road following the signs. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach the parking area for Battlewalks. Make sure to check if you need to pay for parking upon arrival.

Public Transportation

If you are using public transportation, take a local bus from the main bus station in Battlefields that heads towards Escourt. The bus fare should be around R30. Request the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Battlewalks, which is typically around 25 kilometers from the central area. From the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers along the gravel road to reach Battlewalks. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return times.

Taxi or Ride-Sharing

For a more direct route, consider using a taxi or a ride-sharing service such as Uber. Simply input 'Battlewalks' into the app, and the driver will take you directly to the entrance. The fare may vary depending on your starting location, but expect to pay between R150 and R250 for the trip. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
