Getting There

• Car

Then, take a right turn onto a gravel road (look for local signage) which will lead you towards Gudu Falls. Drive for about 5 kilometers, and you will reach a parking area near the falls. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel roads.

  If you are using public transportation, take a bus or shuttle from major cities like Durban or Pietermaritzburg to Bergville. Upon arriving in Bergville, you may need to arrange for a local taxi or shuttle service to take you to Gudu Falls. Communicate your destination clearly, as not all drivers may be familiar with Gudu Falls specifically. Expect to negotiate costs; a local taxi might charge around R300-400 for the trip, depending on the distance and your negotiation skills. Plan for about a 30-40 minute drive from Bergville to the falls.
