Continue on the R33 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Thornybush Private Nature Reserve. Follow the signs to the Thornybush Private Nature Reserve entrance. Once you arrive at the entrance, you may need to pay an entrance fee, which is typically around R100 per vehicle. After entering the reserve, follow the main road until you see signs for The River Lodge. The lodge is located within the reserve, so keep an eye out for further directional signs.
