If you're traveling by car in the Breede River Valley, start from the town of Worcester. Head southwest on the R60 road towards Robertson. Continue on the R60 for approximately 30 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with the R62, turn right onto the R62 towards Montagu. Follow the R62 for about 20 kilometers until you see signs for the First Waterfall. Turn left onto the gravel road indicated by these signs. Drive a short distance until you reach the parking area for First Waterfall. Make sure to check your fuel level before starting your journey, as there are limited service stations along this route.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Worcester to Robertson. The bus service runs several times a day and the fare is typically around R50. Once you arrive in Robertson, you will need to hire a taxi or use a rideshare service to reach First Waterfall, as public transportation directly to this location is limited. The taxi ride will cost approximately R150-R200, depending on negotiations with the driver. Be sure to confirm the fare beforehand.
