Car
If you are driving, start from Cape Town and take the M3 highway towards Muizenberg. Follow the M3 until it turns into the M5, and continue onto the M4, which is the scenic coastal road. Keep driving along the M4 until you reach Rooi-Els. Turn onto Rocklands Road, and Rocky Beach will be on your left at 137 Rocklands Rd, Rooi-Els. There is no entrance fee for the beach itself, but be mindful of parking fees if applicable.

Public Transportation
To reach Rocky Beach using public transportation, take the Metrorail train from Cape Town to the nearest station, which is 'Kleinmond'. From Kleinmond station, you can catch a local taxi or rideshare to Rooi-Els. Tell the driver to drop you off at 137 Rocklands Rd. The train fare will cost approximately ZAR 30-50, and the taxi fare from Kleinmond to Rooi-Els should be around ZAR 100-150.

If you are staying in Rooi-Els, you can walk to Rocky Beach from anywhere in the village. Simply head towards Rocklands Road, and you will find the beach easily accessible. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially on hot days.
