Getting There

    If you're driving from Hermanus, head east on the R43 towards the N2. Merge onto the N2 highway in the direction of Caledon. Continue on the N2 for approximately 25 km. Look for the Houw Hoek exit (Exit 93), and take the exit towards R43/Houw Hoek. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the R43. After about 1.5 km, the Green Mountain Trail entrance will be on your left. Make sure to have cash on hand for possible parking fees.

    From Hermanus, you can take a bus to Caledon. Once in Caledon, you will need to take a taxi to reach the Green Mountain Trail. Ask the bus driver or local residents for the taxi pick-up point. The taxi ride should take about 20 minutes and cost approximately R50. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off at the trail's entrance.
