    If you are in the V&A Waterfront area, head towards the Clock Tower and take the path leading towards the main road, Alfred Mall. Walk straight along the road until you reach the intersection with Granger Bay Blvd. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, cross over to the other side of the road. You will now be on Castle St. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Castle of Good Hope on your right.

  • Public Transport - MyCiTi Bus

    From the V&A Waterfront, walk to the MyCiTi bus station located at the Waterfront. Take the MyCiTi bus route that goes towards the Civic Centre. Alight at the Civic Centre stop. From there, walk towards the Castle Street exit and head to Castle St. Turn left on Castle St and walk for about 5 minutes. The Castle of Good Hope will be on your left.

  • Walking from the City Centre

    If you are starting from the City Centre, make your way towards Strand Street. Head straight down Strand Street until you reach the intersection with Buitengracht Street. Turn right onto Buitengracht and walk until you reach the traffic lights. Turn left onto Castle St. The Castle of Good Hope will be situated on your right after walking for about 5 minutes.

  • Walking from Green Market Square

    From Green Market Square, head northwest towards Shortmarket Street. Turn right onto Shortmarket Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Long Street. Turn left onto Long Street and then take a right at the first intersection onto Castle St. The Castle of Good Hope will be a short walk down on your left.
