Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in central Cape Town, start at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). Walk towards the Adderley Street and head to the MyCiTi Bus Station at the Civic Centre. Take the MyCiTi Bus Route 104 towards Camps Bay. Upon reaching the Camps Bay stop, disembark and walk towards the beachfront. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the intersection with Victoria Road. Turn left onto Victoria Road and continue walking until you reach Clifton 3rd Beach, which is marked by a set of steps leading down to the beach.

  • Public Transport

    From central Cape Town, head to the nearest MyCiTi Bus Station, such as the Civic Centre. Board the MyCiTi Bus Route 104 towards Camps Bay. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the Camps Bay stop. Once you exit the bus, walk down to the beach, then follow the promenade to the left. Walk for about 10 minutes until you see the steps leading down to Clifton 3rd Beach.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in central Cape Town. Start from the V&A Waterfront or any bike rental location and ride along the Sea Point Promenade. Follow the pathway along the coast until you reach the end of the promenade at the Camps Bay area. From there, head up to Victoria Road and make a left turn. Continue straight until you find Clifton 3rd Beach. Lock your bike at the bike racks available near the beach.
