Walking
If you're starting from the V&A Waterfront, head east towards the Clock Tower and then follow the signs to the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). From there, continue onto the N1 highway entrance, but do not enter the highway. Instead, take the left onto Somerset Road. Walk along Somerset Road until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Main Road (M62) heading towards Camps Bay. Follow Main Road until you reach the intersection with Camps Bay Drive. Turn left onto Camps Bay Drive, and then follow it as it curves to the right into Victoria Road. Continue straight, and you'll see Clifton Beach on your left. Clifton 1st is the first beach you encounter.
