Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the V&A Waterfront, exit the waterfront area and head towards the main road, Alfred Mall. Turn left onto Alfred Mall and walk straight until you reach Dock Road. Turn right onto Dock Road and continue walking until you reach the intersection of Dock Road and Beach Road. Turn left onto Beach Road, and continue along the promenade until you reach Green Point Lighthouse at 100 Beach Rd, Mouille Point. It should take you around 30 minutes to walk.

  • Public Transport (MyCiTi Bus)

    From the Cape Town City Centre, walk to the MyCiTi bus station at the Civic Centre. Take the MyCiTi bus towards Hout Bay and get off at the Mouille Point stop. From there, walk towards the ocean and turn left onto Beach Road. Walk along the promenade for about 10 minutes until you reach Green Point Lighthouse at 100 Beach Rd, Mouille Point.
