Abseiling Table Mountain

Challenging, yet so rewarding

Our guide, Philippa, was an absolute pleasure. She was so patient with us, allowing us to take our time and enjoy the views. There was never even the slightest hint of us needing to rush. She was extremely knowledgeable about the mountain and shared lots of interesting pieces of information with us. She kept offering to take photos and videos of us. The climb itself is quite a challenge. We actually found the descent harder than the ascent. The booking was made easily and we were picked up right on time. And the abseil, what a thrilling experience!! We did this at a time that the cable cars were not running so we were the only ones doing this activity. It takes your breath away to basically hang with a harness off the side of a sheer face cliff. The views are also incredible. The staff was very helpful and made sure we had fun but also felt safe the whole time. Highly recommended!

Cape Town Table Mountain Return Tickets

freezing june trip but views were worth it.

Winter winds in Cape Town were brutal last week, but OceanVista travel and tours helped my wife and me time our mountain visit perfectly. Rain nearly ruined our morning, but the team tracked the cloud clearance and told us exactly when to head toward the lower station. Having our cape town table mountain return ticket ready meant we bypassed the freezing outdoor queue completely. We both froze at the summit but the winter views together were spectacular.

Abseil and Table Mountain Hike Combo

If you like walking do this!

Mthunzi, my guide was excellent , I had no doubt he would get me to the top. Although a young man he has ten years experience of guiding. He clearly loves what he does !
