If you are driving from the town of Bergville, head southeast on the R74 road. Continue for approximately 32 km until you reach the entrance of the Royal Natal National Park. There is a small entrance fee, which is usually around R50 for vehicles. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the Thendele Camp, which is about 3 km from the park entrance. The road is well maintained, but be cautious of wildlife crossing.
