From the East London central bus terminal, take the bus heading towards Gonubie. Inform the bus driver that you would like to get off at the Cove Rock area. This should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you disembark, walk towards the coast along the pathway that leads to Cove Rock Beach, which is a short 10-minute walk.

If you are staying near the East London beachfront, you can walk to Cove Rock Beach. Head east along the beachfront promenade and follow the signs towards Gonubie. Keep walking for about 5 kilometers until you reach Cove Rock Beach. The beach will be on your left-hand side as you approach the area.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in East London. Once you have your bicycle, head east towards the beachfront. Follow the coastal road towards Gonubie, which is approximately 6 kilometers away. You will find Cove Rock Beach just past the Gonubie area. There are bike racks available near the beach for parking.
