If you are driving from St. Lucia, take the N2 highway northbound. Continue for approximately 40 km until you reach the turnoff for the R618 towards Kosi Bay. Turn onto the R618 and follow the road for about 30 km until you reach Mvutshana. At the entrance, you will need to pay an entrance fee to Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, which is approximately R50 per person. Follow the signs for Kosi Bay Reserve, and you will arrive at the campground.

To reach Kosi Bay via public transport, start in St. Lucia and take a minibus taxi heading towards Manguzi. The journey takes about 1.5 hours and costs around R50. You will need to inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Kosi Bay turnoff. From there, you may need to walk approximately 5 km or arrange for a local taxi to take you to Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife. Be sure to confirm the fare with the taxi driver before starting your journey.
