Getting There

Car
From the main entrance of Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, head south on the R618. Continue on this road for approximately 16 km. You will reach a fork in the road; keep left to stay on the R618. After about 3 km, you will see signs for Nguni Lodge. Turn right onto a gravel road leading to the lodge. Follow this road for about 2 km, and Nguni Lodge will be on your left.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take a minibus taxi from Hluhluwe town towards the park's entrance. Once at the entrance, you will need to arrange for a shuttle or taxi service to take you to Nguni Lodge as public transport does not go directly to the lodge. Expect to pay around R150-200 for the taxi service from the park entrance to the lodge.

Walking
While walking is not recommended due to the distance and wildlife in the area, if you find yourself near the entrance of the park, you could walk along the R618 towards Nguni Lodge. It is approximately a 5 km walk and would take around 1 hour. Exercise caution and be aware of your surroundings as this area is home to wildlife.
