Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Johannesburg Park Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, which is Wolmarans Street. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Eloff Street. Turn right onto Eloff Street. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass various shops and restaurants along the way. Ghandi Square will be on your left, at the intersection of Eloff Street and Small Street. Look for the large statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the square.

    From your location, find the nearest bus stop that serves the Rea Vaya bus system. Board a bus heading towards the 'Braamfontein' route. After a few stops, get off at the 'Wits University' stop, and walk towards Jorissen Street. Turn right onto Jan Smuts Avenue and continue straight until you reach Eloff Street.
