Car
If you're traveling by car in the Lowveld region, you can reach Bateleur Bushveld Camp by following these directions. Start on the N4 highway heading east towards the Kruger National Park. After approximately 60 km, take the exit towards the R40 road. Continue on the R40 until you reach Hazyview. From Hazyview, follow the R536 towards the Kruger National Park entrance. Upon entering the park, follow the signs to the Shingwedzi River Loop. Bateleur Bushveld Camp is located approximately 30 km from the entrance, and you should keep an eye out for directional signs. Note that there is an entrance fee to the park, which is approximately R100 per person for a day visit.

Public Transportation
If you prefer using public transportation, you can take a bus from major cities like Johannesburg or Pretoria to Hazyview. From Hazyview, you will need to arrange a taxi or shuttle service to take you to the Kruger National Park entrance. Once inside the park, you can either drive yourself or hire a tour guide to take you to Bateleur Bushveld Camp. It’s advisable to book the taxi in advance, as availability may vary. Expect to pay around R600 for the taxi ride from Hazyview to the park entrance, in addition to the park entrance fee.
