After approximately 60 kilometers, take the exit toward R40 and continue on R40 until you reach the Phabeni Gate of Kruger National Park. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Shingwedzi Camp. The Kanniedood Hide is located near the Shingwedzi River, just a short drive from the camp. Make sure to have your park entrance fee ready; as of 2023, it ranges from ZAR 100 to ZAR 300 depending on the season and nationality.

To reach Kanniedood Hide via public transport, start by taking a bus from Nelspruit to Phalaborwa. Buses run regularly from the central bus station. Upon arrival in Phalaborwa, you can take a taxi to the Phabeni Gate of Kruger National Park.
