Car

If you are driving from Nelspruit (Mbombela), take the N4 highway east towards the border with Mozambique. After approximately 60 kilometers, take the R40 exit towards White River. Follow the R40 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R527. Turn left onto the R527 and continue for about 40 kilometers until you reach the town of Musina. From Musina, continue on the R578 for approximately 22 kilometers until you see the entrance to Makuya Nature Reserve on your left. Please note that there may be a small entrance fee to access the reserve, so ensure you have some cash on hand.
