Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Springbok, which is a major hub in Namaqualand. Head northwest on the N7 highway towards Kamieskroon. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the exit toward the R358 road. Follow the R358 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Namaqua National Park. Once inside the park, follow the signs toward Koringkorrel Baai Campsite, which is located within the park. The total drive from Springbok should take around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on road conditions.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transport, take a bus from Springbok to Kamieskroon. From Kamieskroon, you may need to arrange for a taxi or shuttle service to take you to the entrance of Namaqua National Park. Make sure to confirm the availability of transport options in advance, as they may be limited. Once at the park entrance, you can either walk or arrange for a vehicle to take you to Koringkorrel Baai Campsite, which is a short drive inside the park.

• Walking (within Namaqua National Park)

  If you are already within Namaqua National Park and have parked at the nearest parking area, follow the marked trails towards Koringkorrel Baai Campsite. The trails are well maintained, and you should be able to reach the campsite in about 20-30 minutes of walking. Be sure to carry water and wear appropriate footwear, as the terrain can be uneven.
