Car
If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the N4 highway. From any major city in North West, head towards the N4. Once on the N4, follow the signs for Rustenburg. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards the R24 road, signposted for Koster. Follow the R24 for about 20 kilometers, and then take the R401 towards Buffelspoort. Continue on the R401 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Mountain Sanctuary Park. Follow the signs leading to the park entrance. There is a parking fee, so be prepared to pay upon arrival.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, first take a bus from your nearest town to Rustenburg. Once in Rustenburg, you will need to find a local taxi service that goes to Buffelspoort. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they can drop you off at Mountain Sanctuary Park, as not all taxis may go directly to the park. The taxi fare will vary, so keep some cash handy. After being dropped off, you may have to walk a short distance to reach the park entrance. Be aware of the park's opening hours, as they close at 5:30 PM.

Combination of Car and Hiking
Another option for those adventurous types is to drive to the nearest point on the R401, then park your car in the designated area and hike the remaining distance to Mountain Sanctuary Park. This option is more suitable for experienced hikers as the terrain can be uneven. Ensure you have proper hiking gear, and be aware that it may take an additional 30-60 minutes to reach the park entrance on foot.
