By Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Rustenburg. From the city center, take the R24 road heading northeast. Continue on the R24 for approximately 30 km until you reach the exit towards the R565. Merge onto R565 and follow the signs towards Mountain Sanctuary Park. The park entrance will be on your left after about 15 km. Upon entering the park, follow the signs to Perdewater Grotto, which is a short drive within the park.

By Public Transport
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a taxi or minibus from Rustenburg to the nearest drop-off point on the R565. Look for local taxis that head towards the Magaliesburg area and inform the driver that you are going to Mountain Sanctuary Park. The fare should be relatively inexpensive, around ZAR 50-80 depending on your negotiation skills. Once you are dropped off on the R565, you will need to walk or arrange a ride to the park entrance, which is approximately 5 km away.

If you are dropped off on the R565, you can walk to the park entrance. The walk is about 5 km along the road. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes and adequate water, as it may take around 1 to 1.5 hours to reach the entrance. Be cautious of traffic along the R565, as it is a busy road.
