Getting There

  From De Hoop Nature Reserve, exit the reserve through the main gate and turn onto the R326 road. Continue on R326 until you reach the T-junction with the R43. Turn left onto R43 towards Bredasdorp. Follow the R43 for about 28 kilometers, passing through the small town of Bredasdorp. Continue straight until you see the signs for L'Agulhas. Turn right onto Lighthouse Street and follow it until you reach the Cape Agulhas Lighthouse. The total drive will take approximately 45 minutes.

• Public Transportation

  While there are no direct public transport options from De Hoop Nature Reserve to Cape Agulhas Lighthouse, you can take a taxi service from the reserve to Bredasdorp. Once in Bredasdorp, you can catch a local taxi or arrange for a ride to L'Agulhas. It's advisable to confirm transport options in advance, as services may vary. Be prepared for additional costs for the taxi services, which can range from R300 to R500 depending on the distance and negotiation.
