Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start by heading towards Hermanus from your current location in Overberg. Use the N2 highway and follow the signs for Hermanus. Once you reach Hermanus, follow the signs directing you to the Hemel en Aarde Valley. You will need to turn onto the R320 road. Continue straight on the R320, and soon after, you will see signs for the Whale Coast Art & Wine Route. The exact address is Hemel en Aarde, Hermanus, 7200. There is no toll on this route.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, you can take a bus from Cape Town to Hermanus. The bus service is provided by several companies, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Hermanus bus station, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to Hemel en Aarde Valley. Be sure to confirm the fare with the taxi driver before you start your ride. The distance from the bus station to the Whale Coast Art & Wine Route is about 15 km.

• Bicycle
