    From Pretoria city center, head to the Pretoria Bus Station located at 1 Paul Kruger St. Take the bus number 157 towards Johannesburg. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Emmarentia stop. Once you arrive at Emmarentia, walk towards Olifants Road. The Johannesburg Botanical Gardens will be located a short walk down Olifants Road, on your left.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the rental stations in Pretoria. Head towards the R21 road, which connects Pretoria and Johannesburg. Follow the R21 until you reach the N1 highway interchange. Continue on the cycle path towards Randburg. As you approach Emmarentia, look for Olifants Road and make a left turn. The Johannesburg Botanical Gardens will be easily visible on your right.

    If you are located near the Melrose Arch area in Johannesburg, you can walk to the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens. Head south on 7th Street towards the M1 highway.
