    From Sani Pass, head towards the entrance of Royal Natal National Park. You will need to pay an entrance fee, which is approximately ZAR 40 per adult. Once inside the park, follow the road signs indicating the route to Tugela Falls. The road may be rough in places, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Continue on the main gravel road, and after approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach the parking area for the Tugela Falls hike.

  • Hiking

    After parking, you will need to hike to reach Tugela Falls. The hike to the falls is about 4-5 kilometers one way and can take around 2-3 hours depending on your fitness level. Follow the well-marked trail that leads through beautiful scenery. Be prepared for some steep sections and rocky pathways. Ensure you have plenty of water, sturdy hiking boots, and possibly a walking stick for support.

  • Public Transport

    There is limited public transport directly to Tugela Falls.
