From the center of Sunshine Coast, head towards the N2 highway. Merge onto the N2 towards Cape Town. Continue on the N2 for approximately 30 km, then take exit 20A for M5 towards Plattekloof. Continue on the M5 and take exit 9 for N1 towards Paarl. After approximately 8 km, take exit 23 for R300 towards Bellville. Follow the R300 and take the exit towards Tygerberg Nature Reserve. Turn left onto Totius Street, and you will find Tygerberg Nature Reserve at 27 Totius St, Welgemoed, Cape Town, 7530. Parking is available on-site, and entry to the reserve is free.

From Sunshine Coast, locate the nearest bus station and take a bus to Cape Town. Look for buses that head to Bellville or Tygerberg. Once you arrive at the Bellville bus terminal, transfer to the local taxi service or a bus that goes towards Welgemoed. You can ask local vendors for the best route.
