If you're driving from the main entrance of Table Mountain National Park, head east on Tafelberg Road towards Kloof Nek. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the M62. Turn left onto the M62 and follow it until you reach the intersection with the N1. Merge onto the N1, and then take the exit for the M6 towards the Waterfront. Follow signs for the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Once you arrive at the waterfront, park in one of the designated parking areas. The Cape Town Breakwater is located within walking distance at Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town, 8001.

From the nearest public transport station, take the MyCiTi Bus service. Board the bus heading towards the Waterfront (Route 104). The bus will take you directly to the V&A Waterfront. After disembarking at the V&A Waterfront station, follow the signs towards the waterfront area. The Cape Town Breakwater is a short walk away, located at Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town, 8001. Please note that a single journey on the MyCiTi Bus costs around ZAR 10-15, and you will need a MyCiTi card to access the service.
