From the center of Waterberg, head east on the R101 road. Follow the R101 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R33 road. Turn right onto the R33 and continue for another 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Rietfontein Farm. Turn right and follow the signs for Mhara Game Lodge, which is located within the farm area. The lodge is situated at the coordinates -24.375001, 28.776956.

Take a local bus from Waterberg to the nearest bus stop along the R33 road. Ensure to ask the bus driver for the closest stop to Rietfontein Farm. From the bus stop, you may need to arrange a taxi or local ride-sharing service to cover the remaining distance to Mhara Game Lodge. Be prepared for a short walk if the pickup point is not directly at the lodge.
