Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Cape Town, take the N1 highway towards the N2. Once you reach the intersection, follow the N2 towards George. Continue on the N2 until you exit for Mossel Bay (Exit 401). Follow the signs to Mossel Bay and continue on the R102. Once in Mossel Bay, turn onto Montagu Street. The Cape St Blaize Lighthouse Complex is located at 2 Montagu St, Mossel Bay, 6500. There is parking available near the lighthouse complex.

• Public Transportation

  From Cape Town, you can take a Greyhound or Intercape bus to Mossel Bay. The journey takes about 4-5 hours. Once you arrive at the Mossel Bay bus terminal, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to Montagu Street. The Cape St Blaize Lighthouse Complex is about 2 km from the bus terminal. If you prefer to walk, it will take approximately 25-30 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are already in Mossel Bay and prefer to walk, head towards Montagu Street from the town center. The Cape St Blaize Lighthouse Complex is about a 15-minute walk from the center of Mossel Bay. Follow the signs to the beachfront and walk along the coast. The lighthouse will be visible as you approach the area.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Mossel Bay. There are local rental shops available. You can cycle along the coast towards the Cape St Blaize Lighthouse Complex. The distance from the town center is approximately 2 km, and the route offers scenic views of the coastline.
