If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Port St Johns. Head west on the N2 highway. After approximately 5 kilometers, take the exit toward the Unnamed Road. Follow the Unnamed Road for about 10 kilometers until you reach The Gap. Be cautious of the steep inclines and make sure your vehicle is in good condition, as the road can be rough in places.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a minibus taxi from Port St Johns to the nearest drop-off point along the N2 highway. Inform the driver you want to go toward The Gap. Once dropped off, you will need to walk approximately 10 kilometers along the Unnamed Road to reach The Gap. It's advisable to arrange a local guide or use a GPS-enabled device for navigation, as the path may not be clearly marked.
Walking
