Getting There

Car
If you are driving from the town of Ulundi, head southeast on the N2 highway. After about 37 kilometers, take the exit toward the R68. Merge onto the R68 and continue for approximately 20 kilometers. You will see signs for Isandlwana Lodge as you approach the area. The lodge is located on the R68, just outside the village of Gezahlale. Please note that there may be a small parking fee at the lodge; check their website for current rates.

From Ulundi, take a minibus taxi to the town of Nqutu. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and costs around R30. Once in Nqutu, you will need to catch another minibus taxi toward Gezahlale. These taxis usually charge around R20 and take about 30 minutes. Inform the driver you want to go to Isandlwana Lodge so they can drop you off at the nearest point. Be prepared for a short walk from the drop-off point to the lodge.
